LINKEDIN PROFILES AND ARTICLES

When a local business person asked me to take a look at their LinkedIn profile I was shocked.  The information focused entirely on what they had done ten years previously. Their role in leading and managing their current highly successful business barely got a mention.

This client is time poor. They have a successful business to run and a growing family. Even though they are acknowledged industry experts, they don't have time to spend hours writing and publishing articles.

The Challenge
People look up your profile on LinkedIn for several reasons.  To verify who you are. To check your track record if you're apply for a job. Or to assess your credentials if they're thinking of using your services.  The challenge is to achieve a balance between showcasing a person's knowledge and expertise and demonstrating their current skills and competencies.

What We Did
I regularly ghost write articles on industry specific issues or developments and blogs on the types of services offered by the Company.  The articles are published on LinkedIn, in journals or print media and on the company website.

What We Achieved
This strategy can build an individual's profile within an industry sector. In addition, it achieves improved outcomes for the website through what is sometimes referred to as the Link Juice factor. A way of using SEO to maximise the amount of positive ranking factors that a link may pass from one page to the next generated from internal or external links. Best of all, it frees up the client to spend quality time with their family.
